Vegetable juices are an excellent way to increase your fruit and vegetable intake. I try to avoid juicing a lot of fruit due to the sugar content. Today I’m sharing my favourite beetroot juice recipe. Beetroot has been shown to be beneficial to athletic performance as it assists with oxygen transportation around the body.
3 stalks celery
1 green apple
Cut all ingredients into chucks and feed through your juicer. Pour juice into a cup and enjoy. You may wish to refrigerate before enjoying or add some ice.
