My Mind, Body and Soul Philosophy

Emily Holmes

I wrote about my food philosophy here and my self-love philosophy here. I believe how we treat our mind, body and soul is just as important as what we put inside our body. You can drink 10 green smoothies a day but if you’re constantly stressed or hating yourself, you will never be healthy. So today I’m sharing my mind, body and soul philosophy with you because it’s just as important (if not more important!) to do the inner work.

De clutter my space – I will clear away the crap in my life. First I will clear my space, then my mind will follow.

Make a vision board – I will see my dreams turn into reality by manifesting my own luck.

Have a social free media free day each week – I will disconnect.

Repeat a positive affirmation every day – my body hears what my mind says and I create my own reality from this.

Keep a journal – everything is clearer on paper.

Sleep for 8 hours every night – sleep is the best form of meditation for my body.

Learn continuously – I will never stop growing.

Walk barefoot and connect with the earth – I will live with this earth, not on it.

Move every day – I will aim to break a sweat and move my arms and legs in a way that feels natural. I will not punish my body or put it under physical stress.

Get 15 minutes of sun every day – vitamin D is essential for my body.

Surround myself with nature – the healing power of nature does wonders for my body.

Attend a yoga class – I will connect and align my body and mind.

Meditate every day – I will listen to my body.

Be present – it’s the only moment I can control.

Not restrict myself – I will educate my body and give it what it needs. It is not difficult to be healthy.

Is there anything else I can add to this list?
