Tell us about your journey, what sparked your passion for the health and wellness industry?
I have always been curious whilst playing lots of sport on how the food I eat – whether it be before or after a training session or game, could have effects on my performance and that’s what sparked my passion to find out what foods help to enhance it!
What’s your number one wellness tip?
Keep balanced, drink plenty of water and smile as often as you can.
What’s your one non-negotiable when it comes to your health?
Drinking plenty of water, stay hydrated.
What motto do you live by?
A healthy outside starts from the inside.
What is your proudest achievement?
Wearing the Green and Gold and representing my country.
What are your goals for the future?
To get the best out of myself, hopefully to play for the diamonds and win a Commonwealth Games that would be very special!
Tell us something not many people know about you?
I live on the beach so I get down there as often as I can, I could be down there for 3-4 hours a day!
Can you share with us one of your favourite recipes?
My favourite Summer Salad Recipe – super easy and so tasty!
Prawn Summer Salad
1 mango, peeled and chopped into cubes
1 avocado, peeled and cubed
2 medium tomatoes, cubed
1 medium red capsicum, cubed
1 medium carrot, cubed
10 cooked and peeled tiger prawns
Handful of pine nuts
1/2 lemon, juiced
Salt and pepper to taste
Mixed herbs, sprinkle
Mix all ingredients together in a large mixing bowl and then serve in a salad dish! Enjoy!
