
I have been craving almond butter on everything these days so I came up with an awesome Coconut Almond Butter Smoothie recipe!
Ingredients:
1 cup almond milk (recipe here)
1 cup ice
Pinch nutmeg
Pinch vanilla powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons shredded coconut
2 tablespoons yoghurt (I used coconut yoghurt)
2-3 tablespoons raw honey or sweetener of your choice (maple syrup, dates or stevia, etc)
3-4 tablespoons almond butter or more if you like a stronger flavour
Method:
Blend all ingredients in your food processor until smooth. Pour and serve.
You can swap the almond butter for peanut butter and you can also add a tablespoon or 2 of raw cacao powder for a chocolate hit.
