Meet Christine…
Tell us about your journey, what sparked your passion for the health and wellness industry?
A trip in Africa rocked my boat! I was a successful entrepreneur running a public relations company in Paris but when I first landed in Sierra Leone I knew I had to change my life. I believe it was a spiritual awakening, the call from mother earth. It took me few years to realise my dream to immerse myself in nature. The rest of the story has been an amazing flow of synchronicity, meeting amazing people and studying beautiful modalities. Today I share my experience and passion for health and happiness with my clients and students and help them to feel empowered and the best they can be.
What’s your number one wellness tip?
I give myself Reiki almost daily. It is fabulous to be energised, balanced and protected.
What’s your one non-negotiable when it comes to your health?
My week is set with scheduled “Sacred Time for myself” that I share in between yoga, Pilates, big walks to the beach and visits to my massage therapist.
What motto do you live by?
Experience each day as a sacred gift and let your heart shine.
What is your proudest achievement?
What are your goals for the future?
I see myself traveling and doing personal-development workshops and seminars in different cities in Australia and overseas, publishing books, selling my art to international collectors and helping people to feel happy, inspired and empowered.
Tell us something not many people know about you?
I was an unhappy and shy child.
Can you share with us one of your favourite recipes?
Raw Energy Bliss Balls
Sharing my special REIKI RECIPE which is always popular with my students, family and friends.
2 cups raw, organic almonds finely ground
2 tablespoons coconut oil
2 tablespoons niulife coconut syrup
3/4 cup soaked goji berries (discard water but don’t press berries dry)
1/3 cup raw cacao
2 tablespoons carob
Don’t forget to add some Reiki energy
Add if you wish Maca powder (feel good supplement), spirulina powder (protein and iron source) and vegan raw protein powder.
Combine ground almonds, oil, cacao, carob and goji berries, add coconut syrup and mix until a dough like consistency is reached. Roll into balls and coat in shredded coconut. These bliss balls will keep well in the fridge for 10-15 days.
