Choc Buckwheat Cups

This recipe is super easy plus super delicious. If you don’t have buckwheat you can leave it out to make a plain chocolate or swap it for toasted coconut to make coconut rough or fruit and nuts to make a fruit and nut chocolate. Homemade chocolate is one of my 6 ‘unhealthy’ foods that are actually good for you. You may have noticed that I’m a bit addicted to chocolate. You can check out my ridiculous amount of chocolate recipes – try my Chocolate Pudding, Chocolate Granola, Choc Pancakes, Choc Berry Protein Smoothie, Choc Peanut Butter Cheesecake, Choc Macadamia Muffins, Choc Chia Pudding, Raw Choc Brownie Bites or my Choc Acai Berry Bowl.

¼ cup melted cacao butter
1 tablespoon cacao powder
1 tablespoon coconut sugar
1 cup buckwheat groats

Mix melted cacao butter with cacao powder and coconut sugar until smooth.Stir through buckwheat groats. Divide mixture evenly into 6 muffins trays and place in the fridge overnight to set. This chocolate is best stored in the fridge.

What do you add to your homemade chocolate?

  1. I haven’t used buckwheat groats before, you don’t have to do anything to them? Just put them in the ‘chocolate’ refridge and swerve? Thanks!
