This recipe is super easy plus super delicious. If you don’t have buckwheat you can leave it out to make a plain chocolate or swap it for toasted coconut to make coconut rough or fruit and nuts to make a fruit and nut chocolate. Homemade chocolate is one of my 6 ‘unhealthy’ foods that are actually good for you. You may have noticed that I’m a bit addicted to chocolate. Ingredients:
¼ cup melted cacao butter
1 tablespoon cacao powder
1 tablespoon coconut sugar
1 cup buckwheat groats
Method:
Mix melted cacao butter with cacao powder and coconut sugar until smooth.Stir through buckwheat groats. Divide mixture evenly into 6 muffins trays and place in the fridge overnight to set. This chocolate is best stored in the fridge.
What do you add to your homemade chocolate?
I haven’t used buckwheat groats before, you don’t have to do anything to them? Just put them in the ‘chocolate’ refridge and swerve? Thanks!
Hi Tasha, yep, that’s it!
